Disk space is not such a precious commodity as it used to be back in the day. I mean a hard drive of 30GB seemed huge a few years back – now it is puny in comparison to what you can find on the market. Still, I am sure that no one wants to unnecessarily clutter his hard disk.

Once installed on a system, Clone Hunter can locate files that are completely identical – since they are identical, they are taking up space and cluttering the hard drive. Clone Hunter can scan the entire hard drive in search of duplicate files. Or it can scan specific drives, or specific folders in search of duplicate files. The choice is up to you. Once the scan is completed, you get to select what to do with the detected files. You can for example keep the oldest files, keep the newest ones, run files from the list, and so on. Speaking of files, Clone Hunter can scan for specific file types. It can also search by name, extension, size, and content.
